2024 Port Jervis Prayer Chain
Brother Knights and Community Come Together for Prayer
On October 13th 70 people braved the rain and cold to stand and pray as a witness for the lives of the unborn. People held signs on E Main Street reading “Abortion Hurts Women”, “Life the First Inalienable Right”, and “God Have Mercy on Us”. Many passerbys honked in support of the witness. Brothers Paul Schatteman, Nathaniel White, Dr. Joe Pirronhe, and Tony Perito were present for the event.
During the prayer chain participants are encouraged to pray – this writer said the rosary, divine mercy chaplet, and read a few of the Psalms.
Thank you to the organizers of the Port Jervis Prayer Chain, especially Stephanie Rubinow – board member of the Tri-State Family & Pregnancy Center.
