Silver Rose Prayer Service 2024
The Knight’s of Pope John Paul II Knights of Columbus Council would like to Thank the parish communities of Saint Patrick’s and St. Joseph’s for their support and making the Silver Rose Prayer service a success. The service was held at Saint Patrick’s Church following the noon Mass on September 4th, 2023 was attended by 54 participants.
The silver roses, that make a pilgrimage from Canada through North America to Mexico City for the feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Symbolize the roses that were given to Saint Juan Diego by Our Lady of Guadalupe to take back to the Bishop as proof of her presence. It’s an honor to our community here in Pike County, PA to be able to pray for the sanctity of human life and for the intercessions of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
