2017 Souper Sunday a Big Success
A big THANK YOU to all who worked hard this year to make the 2017 Souper Sunday a success.
This year there were approximately 336 quarts of soup donated and 318 of them sold with the remain donated the the Ecumenical Food Pantry of Pike County.
The proceeds, over $1400.00 from this fundraiser went to “Pike County Hands of Hope” for the homeless in our area. We are especially grateful to Chef Al Helms and the chefs at the following restaurants that provided gallons of delicious soup:

Finally, the Knights of Columbus express heartfelt thanks to the many community members who purchased hundreds of quarts of soup! You have all helped us to help our neighbors who are experiencing difficult times.
It was an honor to work with the Boy Scouts this year who helped this year as part of their service project in earning their Pius XII medal.
